A Glezele Tey (A Glass of Tea)

Don't miss these amazing photos by photographer Lauran Epstein!

Our journey in this immersive experience in Jewish immigration and labor history began with a voyage by ship, arriving in Ellis Island.

Kids then created personas of early 20th century Jewish immigrants, including their professions, languages spoken, and social issues that were important to them.

Ann Toback, Workmen's Circle national director, helped everyone make and take home a jar of delicious kosher dill pickles--yum!

Special guest dance leader Avia Moore taught us a traditional dance.

And the Vov-Zayin class helped us connect Jewish labor history with contemporary struggles in their campaign work to convince Wendy's to sign the Fair Food Agreement.
